The chemical skin peeling course is an advanced therapy designed for skin care professionals, aged 18 and over, wishing
to broaden their skill set by introducing chemical skin peeling into their clinic or salon.
Chemical skin peels are now the third most commonly performed non-invasive cosmetic procedure after botulinum toxins and soft tissue fillers, with superficial peels seeing a significant increase in popularity due to their capability to target ageing concerns such as fine lines and wrinkles, pigmentation and acne giving almost immediate effects with minimal down time.

Course outcomes

Throughout this qualification, learners will develop their knowledge and understanding of relevant anatomy and physiology and health and safety pertaining to this aesthetic therapy.

They will also develop the knowledge, understanding and skills to consult with and analyse clients whilst providing skin peeling treatments.

In parallel, learners will develop their communication and customer service skills and widen their knowledge of the principles and practices of non-medical aesthetic therapies, all of which are valued highly by employers.
