HydraFacial

What is HydraFacial?

The globally loved and award winning HydraFacial is a hydradermabrasion designed to combine a range of treatments into one: skin detox, cleansing, exfoliation, brightening, extraction and hydration. The treatment can be given in as little as 30 minutes without any downtime or discomfort.

How does it work?

  • Detox – Begin with Lymphatic drainage to improve circulation of the lymph system and eliminate toxins.
  • Cleanse & Peel – Uncover a new layer of skin with gentle exfoliation and relaxing resurfacing.
  • Extract & Hydrate – Remove debris from pores with painless suction. Nourish with intense moisturisers to quench the skin.
  • Fuse & Protect – Saturate the skin’s surface with antioxidants and peptides to maximise your glow.
  • Rejuvenation – Finish with red and infrared LED light to reduce redness, stimulate collagen and support the natural production of Vitamin D.

Wet Diamond Hydrafacial at KAST Medical Aesthetics

At KAST Medical Aesthetics, we believe great skin is built through intelligent, medically guided treatment plans. Wet Diamond Hydrafacial is a results-driven skin resurfacing treatment designed to deeply cleanse, exfoliate, extract and infuse the skin in one controlled, clinical session.

This advanced treatment is available only in medically led clinics, where clinical assessment, regulated protocols and professional-grade formulations ensure both safety and measurable results.

Unlike traditional facials, this is not a pampering treatment. It is a device-led, medical-grade skin health procedure designed to improve skin function while delivering a visible, refined glow.

Key benefits include:

  • Precision diamond-tip resurfacing for deeper, controlled exfoliation
  • Simultaneous serum infusion for enhanced ingredient penetration
  • Smoother texture and improved skin clarity
  • Brighter, more even skin tone
  • Refined pores and reduced congestion
  • Increased hydration and stronger barrier function
  • Immediate glow with minimal downtime

Compared to a standard Hydrafacial, Wet Diamond offers:

  • Physical diamond-tip resurfacing rather than purely chemical exfoliation
  • Deeper, more targeted serum delivery at the moment of exfoliation
  • Greater clinical customisation based on medical skin assessment
  • A stronger focus on long-term skin health rather than short-term radiance

It is ideal for patients seeking visible improvement under medical supervision, where treatment decisions are led by skin science, not trends.

FAQs

Hydration is the foundation of healthy, radiant skin. Irritation of the skin has been proven to increase signs of aging. HydraFacial is a hydrating and non-irritating treatment that extracts impurities from the skin and replaces with antioxidants, peptides and hydration.

The HydraFacial treatment is designed for all skin types. Even the most sensitive skin easily tolerates the HydraFacial treatment. Your skincare professional may choose specific treatment boosters to customise the treatment for your unique skin conditions and needs. The only contraindications for this treatment are listed further down this page.

Many clients report seeing visible skin refinement and an even, radiant skin tone after just one treatment. The smooth results and hydration may last 5 to 7 days or even longer. We don’t believe in quick fixes, so one treatment per month is recommended for improving the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, brown spots, oily and congested skin. Continued HydraFacial treatments are highly recommended to maintain skin health results.

No. Unlike some deeper exfoliation procedures, Wet Diamond remains non-invasive and gentle on your skin. Minimal redness can occasionally occur but isn’t typical, and there’s no significant recovery time needed.

The Wet Diamond tip is medical-grade technology and requires medically trained professionals to use safely and effectively. Offering it within a medical clinic such as KAST ensures personalised treatment and skin assessment, which helps you get the very best results with a minimal risk.
